Couples therapy is a valuable space for partners who want to improve their relationship, resolve conflicts, and deepen their emotional connection. Whether you're navigating communication challenges, trust issues, relationship transitions, or everyday conflicts, I offer a safe environment where both partners can feel heard, understood, and supported.

We Can Address

What to Expect in Couples Therapy:

My approach to couples therapy is collaborative and holistic. In our sessions, we will work together to explore your relationship dynamics and develop practical tools for deeper connection and growth. This process typically involves a combination of joint sessions, individual sessions (as appropriate), and tools from various therapeutic modalities.

  • Duration: Sessions typically last 50-60 minutes. The number of sessions required is different for every couple, though most couples may see improvement after 6-12 sessions.

  • Frequency: Sessions are scheduled weekly or bi-weekly, depending on your needs.

  • Approach: I use Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Somatic Experiencing, and narrative therapy to address your relationship challenges. I may also incorporate Gottman strategies for conflict resolution when appropriate.

  • Cost: $250 per session (individual couples sessions priced the same).

The Process

1. Free Consultation (20 minutes)

Before starting therapy, we’ll have a free 20-minute consultation to ensure that we’re a good fit. During this call, we will discuss your relationship dynamics, challenges, and goals for therapy. This is a chance for you to ask any questions and determine if we're aligned in approach.

2. Intake Session

After the consultation, we’ll begin with an intake session where we work together as a couple. This session allows us to observe your communication patterns, understand the core issues in your relationship, and establish your therapy goals.

3. Individual Sessions (As Needed)

In addition to joint sessions, individual sessions may be scheduled throughout our work together, as appropriate. These sessions provide the opportunity to explore personal history, background, and how each partner's story influences their perspectives on relationship challenges. This deeper understanding can help bring clarity to the issues at hand.

  • The individual sessions are priced the same as couples sessions.

Approaches
